Day I'mNotSure...

WOW.
I am a terrible blogger, and an even worse dieter.
I have stayed around 280ish since my last post, but haven't been doing the shakes the way I need to.
The next time I log on here, I will be starting once again at "day one."
If I was your inspiration, I am sorry, I fell off the wagon when life smacked me in the face.
I promise to get back on, as soon as I have enough time.  I usually have a shake a day if I can get it in, so I am still attempting weight loss.
We'll see where I go from here.

Day Twenty-two.

Hey everyone!  Today officially marks the end of week three and the beginning of week four.  I feel so incredible.  I've had a few slip ups, and I've been required to eat out a few times during the last week, but when I saw the scale yesterday morning and this morning, it was all so incredibly okay.  I realized that there are going to be some slip ups, and that's okay.  Plus, I'm going to be going to the rec center on campus with some friends, and we're all going to begin Wii Fit together, in order to get in shape.

I have also started a "visual" project.  I have two jars, one for "pounds lost" and the other for "pounds to go."  I think it will really help me see my progress and see me get closer to my goal.  I'm so excited for this that it isn't even funny.  I got rehyped about my lifestyle changes this week and I can't wait to get even more on track with what needs to happen.

Now, here it goes.  I'm so excited to tell you guys this that I can't even contain myself.  Yesterday, the scale read 279 lbs and this morning it read 281 and 280, which means I'm somewhere in that three pound range.  I don't even care, I'm going with the lowest one (since I'm probably retaining water today because I ate out yesterday) and that means I am officially 15 pounds lighter!!! :D

Day Fifteen.

Yeah, it's been a week.  Sorry!  I have so much homework for my Tuesday/Thursday classes it isn't even funny! I am not okay with it, but I have to get it done sometime!  Gosh!

Anyways, I'm not gonna talk much today, but I'm resolving to exercise much, much more and watch my snacks a lot closer.  I am not as proud this week as I was last week, though, I still have made some progress.

I hope all of your resolutions are going fantastic.  Remember, don't give up!!

Week Two: 290 lbs.

Day Eight.

Sorry that I didn't post every day, guys, but like I said...as things get busier, I won't be posting as often.  I am finally back in my apartment after an extra long weekend with my parents, which was mostly good.  Besides my dog passing away and my niece hitting her head on the tile floor of Quiznos, it was a worth the trip and it was a wonderful weekend.  I have a work meeting today that's taking place in the Chinese restaurant in town, yeah, HUGE temptation, right?  Well, I'm just going to drink my shake before I leave and then hope for the best, especially since my friends have decided we're having a pizza party for our return to school!  Eeek!

I can DO THIS.  I decided for every slice of pizza I eat, I have to eat a cup of vegetables and for every breadstick I eat, I have to eat a handful of fruit.  That will keep me from eating too much junk and will fill me with nutrients too!  And if I screw up, just have to chalk it up to a mess up, end of story, ya know?  Just do better tomorrow.

OH!  I know what you guys are wondering.  It's Sunday.  That means weigh-in day, right guys?  Well, here you go.  After week one: 291 lbs.  That's right!  3 pounds down! :)

Day Five.

Today wasn't my best day.  I came home to visit my parents yesterday because I just felt like I needed to, well apparently God was trying to tell me something.  Within two-three hours of me being here, my dog, Chloe, passed away.  She had been sick throughout the day and we're not 100% sure what happened, but there's the possibility that she got ahold of an animal like a mouse that had eaten poison.  Obviously, I was devastated and didn't sleep well, which isn't good during a diet.  I didn't fall back on my overeating when upset though, thank goodness.  I had a shake this morning and ended up sleeping most of the afternoon, so I missed my lunch shake. I had carrots and graham crackers this afternoon and ate chicken breast, corn and spaghetti with just light butter and parmesan cheese.

Anyways, I made it through the day and I'm glad for that.  I miss my puppy and I loved her and still do just as much as I have any person.  She was a beautiful, loving and extremely curious dog.  She was always happy to see me, her eyes even sparkled last night when I came home, which was the most excited she could get from being sick.  I'm glad I was able to say goodbye and I just need to remember that she's in a better place now and I need to go on with my life, because as much as I'd like to do something about it, there's nothing I can do.

Day Four.

Well, hello there.  I am really excited this morning!  Yesterday I did 10 more minutes of Zumba in the afternoon and then in the evening I used my exercise bike/elliptical thing for 10 minutes which gave me a 2 1/2 mile ride!  I'm really excited that I did that!

And what's more exciting than that?  I'm down a pound!  No, it's not an official weigh in day or anything and no it's not a huge accomplishment to some people, but to me, it's SO BIG.  I'm so so so so happy!  I drank my orange cream shake this morning and I feel great.  Seriously, I haven't felt this good in MONTHS.  I was sooo sick last semester and I feel like this is exactly what I needed to get my health back.  I'm really happy with how this has made me feel.

Thank you for all the support. :) I'm so happy with my current results.

Day Three.

Good morning everyone!  Today has started off well, although I didn't finish the Zumba video yesterday so I plan on doing so today.  I'm definitely not in shape!!  One day at a time though, right?

This morning I had my own creation, an orange cream Body by Vi shake.  Carrots, banana, mango, pineapple, vanilla yogurt, orange juice and ice all mixed with my two scoops of shake mix.  So delicious!

My body feels better already and it is much more regular.  I'm VERY pleased with this lifestyle so far, I mean, it's so easy!  Last night though, I tried making sweet potato chips and apparently my 400* is hotter than the lady on the internet's 400* because I burned them beyond repair. :(  No fun.  On the bright side though, my dinner last night was DELICIOUS.  I had squash with apples, a grilled chicken breast that had been marinated in fat free Italian dressing and rubbed with just a pinch of chicken rub and sugar snap peas "grilled" in a bit of light Country Crock spread, garlic powder and pepper.  Man oh man was it delicious!!!  Try different ways to make things so you never get tired of it, that's my recommendation.

There's not much else to say today except I hope your weight loss and healthy lifestyle goals are working out for you.  I'm going to continue to try blogging everyday, but once school starts I'm not going to guarantee it more than once a week, but for this first week it's really been helping me.

God bless.
